At Laminate Technologies, a leader in laminated panels and fabricated components for the kitchen cabinetry industry, we’re expanding our global team and seeking a Quality & CI Engineer to lead initiatives with our suppliers and support operations across the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead CI projects using Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, 5S, etc. to optimize processes and reduce waste, focusing on suppliers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop projects to realize them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Brazil and the U.S. to align on quality and CI strategies.
• Implement and manage quality assurance processes to meet customer and company standards.
• Oversee audits, root cause analyses, and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including reports and performance metrics.
• Travel up to 50% of the time for project execution and process assessments.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• An Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Wood, or related fields).
• 5+ years in quality management and CI, preferably in manufacturing; experience in wood industries is a plus.
• Certification or equivalent experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with tools like PDCA, DMAIC, and FMEA.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English; other languages are a plus.
• Valid Brazilian driver’s license (category B) and willingness to travel frequently.
• Bonus: Valid American visa (B1/B2).
