Summary:
Laminate Technologies Distribution Sales Managers are responsible to prospect and generate new business. This position requires cold calling on accounts in the field to generate new permanent sales as well as servicing existing accounts, while also performing required selling, costing, technical analysis, quoting activities to achieve continued profitable growth in the Sales department.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages sales territory and sells LamTech products, generating target levels of revenue, volume, margins, and days outstanding from customer base;
- Effectively communicates and negotiates complex sales contracts with customers;
- Develop the essential strategic approach for sales with each account;
- Report all significant developments & findings to the COO on matters that may impact a customer;
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of Laminate Technologies capabilities and product offerings;
- Direct & coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products;
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales & services in a timely matter;
- Develops volume and revenue forecasts, sales plans, and strategies for achieving desired results;
- Follow up with customers on satisfaction and timely resolution of issues;
- Quote new business, and update existing items in quote file;
- Analyze quotes to ensure accurate pricing;
- Establishes and maintains processes that ensure accurate budget and forecast information for the business;
- Develop and maintain market awareness and competitive trends;
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders;
- Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests;
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms;
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates;
- Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support;
- Knowledge of principles & methods for showing, promoting, and selling LamTech products;
- Other duties as assigned.
