Requirements, Qualifications, and Experience:

• • • • Must have at least 3 years experience in Veneer Grading
      • Ability to identify specie defect characteristics by grade
      • Demonstrate grading, handling and repairing techniques while meeting production expectations
      • Ability to describe and identify all cuts and matching
      • Understanding of veneer handling, storage, warehouse humidification needs and warehouse organization
      • Maintains a working knowledge of veneer specifications
      • Communicates timely updates of vendor issues and concerns
      • Ensure all incoming veneer specifications are met
      • Works daily with schedulers to coordinate veneer flows
      • Able to demonstrate veneer grading, determine dimensional grade of flitch
      • Working knowledge of all veneer production
      • Must have a good work history.
      • Must be able to past pre-employment testing.
      • Previous manufacturing experience is required.
