Inventory Control Coordinator

Summary: The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for compiling and maintaining records of quantity, type, and value of material and/or supplies that the company has in stock.  Oversee procedures and processes to ensure inventory accuracy for all company locations.  Follow quality standards for both Laminate Technologies and our customers. Position Requirements/Responsibilities:
  • High School diploma, Associate’s degree, or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Two to five years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, basic algebra, and their application
  • An individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Ensure accuracy of labor and quantity of all production recorded throughout the manufacturing facility
  • Identify and implement system parameters to help enhance the accuracy of production and PO receipt processing within the Lam Tech operating system
  • Coordinate and oversee all “mini physicals” at each location monthly as well as total year-end physical inventory
  • Ensure accuracy of BOMs
  • Ongoing creation and implementation of uniform SOPs related to the ICC daily functions
  • Post labor, verify actual material ran, issue and receive actual quantities against all jobs
  • Ensure proper processing of all substituted raw materials used on jobs
  • Process cut bills; separate combined jobs appropriately, calculate and accurately process labor and materials
  • Pallet sheets; issue labor and report production quantities as well as all documented scrap
  • Process and receive all material BOLs through the operating system
  • Customer samples; ensure all raw materials are properly deducted from inventory
  • Organize and file all production reports on a daily basis. Maintain appropriate files on hand based on required retention schedule
  • Review and reconcile negative on hand quantities on a daily basis
  • Assist in inventory-discrepancy research
  • Review WIP Report daily to ensure accuracy of all active jobs
  • Weekly inventory status; maintain respective spreadsheets and forward updated spreadsheets to appropriate customers as required
  • Send a monthly overlay-status update as required
  • Assist Materials Manager as needed, including special projects, tariff code updates, slobs coding, etc.
  • Maintain and updated BOM's for counts and related lam stock codes
  • Process all manual production reporting.
  • Maintain and process Cut to Size jobs from creation to finalization
  • Other duties as assigned
