The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and assisting transportation activities to ensure timely and quality delivery of materials for both Laminate Technologies and our customers.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Review and prepare LamTech transportation system to ensure all outbound and inbound loads are covered for delivery.
2. Assist in directing activities related to transportation, help ensure on time delivery of inbound and outbound loads.
3. Monitor spending to ensure expenses are consistent with approved budgets for detention, demurrage, fees, etc.
4. Assist in resolving customer or shipper complaints.
5. Assist in investigations in cooperation with government agencies to determine causes of transportation accidents, coordinate cleanup activities, or improve safety procedures.
6. Assist in implementing plans to improve transportation services.
7. Assist in monitoring fulfillment of contracts with equipment or materials suppliers.
8. Follow procurement processes to ensure adherence to company standards.
9. Maintain accurate data and records for all transportation activities.
10. Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ability to utilize procurement software.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a good work history.
• Must be able to past pre-employment testing.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
