  Summary: The Production Manager is responsible for all aspects of planning, directing, scheduling, and coordinating work activities and resources for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specifications.  This position also has direct supervision of production workers to include inspectors, machine setters, and operators of assembly/fabrication ensuring manufacturing activities meet all quality standards for both Laminate Technologies and our customers.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Review financial statements, sales, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
  2. Direct, schedule & coordinate activities of departments concerned with production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
  3. Apply lean manufacturing principals, practices, and tools striving for continuous improvement.
  4. Develop and execute procedures, processes, and production schedules to continuously improve operational performance.
  5. Enforce all safety and environment policies and regulations.
  6. Review processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
  7. Develop or implement production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production problems.
  8. Monitor suppliers to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed goods or services within budgetary limits.
  9. Manages facilities, manpower, equipment, schedules, materials and assets to maximize production goals and ensure on time delivery of quality products and services that meet applicable customer
  10. Utilizes continuous improvement and lean initiative to reduce operational cost
  11. Works with Human Resources in hiring, developing, evaluating, & resolving employee concerns.
